Title:
EMBEDDED AUDIPHONE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/035812
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An embedded audiphone which is sensitive. An intracorporeal unit (3) embedded into a cranial bone (5) is provided with a vibrator (34) composed of a super magnetostrictive element.  An audible sound modulation transmission signal (S1) having amplitude modulated by a sound collecting signal generated by an extracorporeal unit (2) is transmitted from an extracorporeal transmission coil (31) via a transmission magnetic flux (33) to an intracorporeal reception coil (32) provided in the intracorporeal unit (3).  The vibrator (34) is driven to expand and contract by induced electromotive force of the intracorporeal reception coil (32).  Consequently, an audible sound signal is precisely bone-conducted without providing the intracorporeal unit (3) with a power source or a demodulation circuit.
