Abstract:
This empty container retrieving apparatus comprises: a body; an operating panel located on a front surface of the body; a slot located on at least a portion of the front surface or a side surface of the body; and a determination module located in a downstream direction of the slot inside the body, wherein the determination module stores carbon footprint information of at least one representative product for each product group by classifying empty containers into a plurality of product groups according to at least one attribute from among a material, a shape, a size, a color, and a weight, and when a user inputs user identification information through the operating panel and puts an empty container into the slot, the determination module determines to which product group the put empty container belongs from among the plurality of product groups by measuring at least one attribute of the put empty container from among a material, a shape, a size, a color, and a weight, calculates carbon emission reductions on the basis of the carbon footprint information of the representative product of the corresponding product group, and outputs the carbon emission reductions in association with the user identification information.
