Abstract:
Provided is an encryption and recording device (2) which stores data, comprising a first nonvolatile memory (24), a second nonvolatile memory (26), and an encryption/decryption control unit (231). The encryption/decryption control unit (231): manages on a block unit basis a region which is included in the second nonvolatile memory (26), and manages, by key management information which is stored in the first nonvolatile memory (24), a correspondence between each block and a block-specific key; receives data and correspondence information which is bound to the data, encrypts the data respectively using one or more of the block-specific keys which are associated to the one or more blocks which are included in the second nonvolatile memory (26), and writes the data to the one or more blocks; and stores the correspondence information in the key management information (241) such that the correspondence information is associated to the one or more block-specific keys.
