Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope device for observing lights from two different directions
simultaneously and separately by suppressing the loss of the quantity of a light
coming from a body cavity while reducing the size of the leading end of an insert
portion with a simple constitution. The endoscope device (1) comprises an insert
portion (2) to be inserted into the body cavity, a first dichroic mirror (8) arranged
at the leading end portion of the insert portion (2) for transmitting a light (L4)
of a first wavelength band incident in a longitudinal axis direction and for deflecting
a light (L2) of a second wavelength band incident in a radial direction
thereby to merge the light (L2) with the light (L4) of the
first wavelength band, a second dichroic mirror (13) for separating the lights
(L2 and L4) merged by the first dichroic mirror (8), individually
for the wavelength bands, and two imaging units (16 and 17) for imaging the lights
(L2 and L4) of the first and second wavelength bands separated
by the second dichroic mirror (13), respectively.
