Abstract:
This endoscope system includes a first capsule endoscope device 100 and a second capsule endoscope device 300. The first capsule endoscope device 100 is to be introduced into a living body earlier than the second capsule endoscope device 300. The first capsule endoscope device 100 has a first image pickup element 120, and a first control unit 110 that controls image pickup operations to be performed by the first image pickup element 120. The second capsule endoscope device 300 has a second image pickup element 320, and a second control unit 310, which changes, on the basis of first information relating to the first capsule endoscope device 100, control of the image pickup operations to be performed by the second image pickup element 320.
