Abstract:
This technology relates to an endoscope system, an image processing device, and an image processing method by which it is possible to provide an endoscopic image with little warping over a wide visual field range. The tip of an endoscope insertion unit comprises: a first optical system including a first wide angle optical system; and a second optical system that includes a second wide angle optical system having an optical axis in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis of the first wide angle optical system. One synthesized image is generated by combining a first wide angle image captured using the first optical system and a second wide angle image captured using the second optical system. This technology can be used in an endoscope system.
