Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an image processing device and an image processing method with which it is possible to reduce the capacity of a memory. Provided is an image processing device comprising a memory that stores image data, and a control unit that controls write processing for writing image data to the memory and readout processing for reading out the image data stored in the memory, wherein the control unit releases, before readout processing is completed, a memory area where image data are stored but are not read out. For example, the present disclosure is applicable to an image processing device that performs image stabilizing processing.
