Abstract:

This endoscope system includes: a light source device (100) which irradiates illumination light; an imaging element (240) which, on the basis of the illumination light, captures a surface image of the surface shape of an observed object and a light emission image of light emitted from an area of interest present inside of the observed object; and a treatment unit (310) which, on the basis of the surface image and the light emission image, estimates three-dimensional shape information which includes depth information representing the depth of the area of interest in the observed object.
