Abstract:
The present invention is provided with an endoscope 2 having an imaging element 244 for capturing an image of a subject, a light modulating unit 304 for controlling the illumination light intensity and irradiation time from an illumination unit 242, an insertion channel 247 for insertion of a laser probe 7 capable of radiating monochrome laser light for aiming, a gain adjustment unit 302c for controlling the gain of an imaging signal of the imaging element 244, an aiming laser halation sensing unit 311 for sensing halation relating to the subject during irradiation thereof by the monochrome laser light for aiming, and a control unit 309 for controlling the light modulating unit 304 and the gain control unit 302c when halation by the monochrome laser light for aiming is sensed.
