Abstract:
The invention relates to an endoscope (1) having an endoscope tip (10) arranged at the distal end of the endoscope (1), said endoscope tip (10) comprising an outer wall having an opening and an optically at least partially transparent window (20) inserted hermetically into the opening. The endoscope (1) according to the invention is developed in that the outer wall contains a ceramic material. The invention further relates to an endoscope tip (10) for an endoscope (1), in particular for an optical endoscope or a video endoscope, in particular for an endoscope (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the endoscope tip (10) comprises a tip body (30) having an outer wall that has an opening and an optically at least partially transparent window (20) inserted hermetically into the opening. The endoscope tip according to the invention is developed in that the tip body (30), in particular the outer wall of the tip body, contains a ceramic material.
