Abstract:
This endoscopic system (1) comprises: an endoscope (2) comprising a grip section configured so as to be able to be gripped by a user; an imaging element (11) that is provided to the endoscope (2) and is for imaging a subject; a superimposition circuit (29) for generating an endoscope examination image (31a) on the basis of an endoscopic image (32) imaged by the imaging element (11), and character information (33) relating to an examination; an operation switch (13) that is provided so as to be operable by a user in a state in which the user is gripping the grip section and that outputs an operation signal according to an operation; and a control unit (24) for designating or changing the size of the character information (33) on the basis of the operation signal outputted from the operation switch (13).
