Abstract:
The present application relates to an energy storage apparatus. The energy storage apparatus comprises a control circuit, a plurality of battery clusters connected in parallel, and a switch circuit corresponding to each battery cluster, the switch circuit comprising a first switch and a protection circuit which are connected in parallel; the control circuit is respectively connected to each first switch and to each protection circuit; each battery cluster is connected to a corresponding first switch and to a corresponding protection circuit; the control circuit is used, according to a high voltage supply signal, for controlling the protection circuit to be switched on and for controlling the first switch to be switched off. The energy storage apparatus of the embodiments of the present application avoids the problem of high voltage supplied to a battery cluster causing battery damage due to excess voltage or current.
