Abstract:
An energy surgery tool is provided with a pair of gripping pieces, and is capable of gripping, between the gripping pieces, a blood vessel to be treated, by closing the space between the gripping pieces. At least one of the gripping pieces is provided with an energy application unit which applies treatment energy to a gripped blood vessel to be treated, to treat the blood vessel. This energy surgery device is further provided with: a setting unit for setting information related the wall thickness of the blood vessel; and a gripping force adjustment unit for adjusting the gripping force applied to the blood vessel gripped between the gripping pieces.
