Abstract:
This energy treatment tool comprises: a base provided on the tip of an insertion part along the lengthwise axis thereof; a needle having a pointed end that protrudes to the base; an output unit that is provided on the needle, and that can output energy to the outside of the needle when energy is supplied thereto; and a cover having an end that can move relative to the base. The cover can advance and retreat between: a first position in which the end of the cover is disposed at the same position as the pointed end of the needle or at a position protruding from the pointed end; and a second position in which the end of the cover is disposed at a position closer to the base than the pointed end of the needle and the output unit, with the pointed end and the output unit being allowed to protrude from the end of the cover.
