Abstract:
This energy treatment tool comprises: a probe that is disposed on the tip of an insertion part along the lengthwise axis thereof, and that can pierce living tissue; an output unit that is provided on the probe and that can output energy to the outside of the probe when energy is supplied thereto; and a sensing unit that ascertains the position of a given organ that is located beyond the end of the probe when the probe is piercing the living tissue.
