Abstract:
In order to effectively improve fuel efficiency with an engine cooling system, the system is provided with: a Rankine cycle device (50) in which an evaporator (52), an expander (53), a condenser (54), and a compressor (55) are arranged in order in a circulating flow path (51); a cylinder block flow path (31) formed inside a cylinder block; a main flow path (33) that extends from the downstream end of the cylinder block flow path (31) and passes through the evaporator (52); a radiator (36) that further cools, with outside air, cooling water that has been cooled by the evaporator (52); and a sub-flow path (37) and a cooling flow path (39) that branch off from the main flow path (33) on the downstream side of the evaporator (52), pass through the radiator (36) and the condenser (54) respectively, and are connected to the main flow path (33) on the downstream side of the evaporator (52).
