Abstract:
Provided is an engine generator in which the rotating shaft (361) of a radiator fan (360) is directly connected to a crankshaft (305). This configuration makes a fan belt unnecessary and eliminates the need for the periodic replacement of the fan belt, extending the interval between maintenances. Also, a portion located higher than the topmost section of the water jacket of a cylinder head is provided to a radiator base (900) for supporting a radiator (330), and a filler cap (390) for opening and closing replenishing piping (380) connecting to the radiator (330) is provided to the portion. As a result, water can be supplied by removing the filler cap (390). This means that the direct connection of the rotating shaft (361) of the radiator fan (360) to the crankshaft (305) enables the supply of water even if the height of the upper end of the radiator (330) is reduced.
