Abstract:
An engine hood of construction machinery, wherein, in construction machinery having an engine room covered with the openable engine hood, a space for disposing an energizing means is reduced to increase the freedom degree in the layout of devices and equipment and pipes stored in the engine room when the energizing means for energizing the engine hood in open side is installed to reduce the opening/closing operation force of the engine hood and, as the means for energizing the engine hood (18) to the open side, a torsion coil spring (21) is used to reduce the opening/closing operation force of the engine hood (18).
