Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an EPDM composition which is a practical blend having excellent compression set and elongation at break, while exhibiting sufficiently high tensile strength.
[Solution] An EPDM composition which contains: an EPDM polymer having an ethylene content of 40-70% by mass, a diene content of 4-15% by mass and a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4 at 125°C) of 10-200; a carbon black having a particle diameter of 30-100 nm and an oil absorption (A) of 50-200 ml/100 g; a process oil having a kinematic viscosity (at 40°C) of 100 mm2/sec or more; and a peroxide vulcanizing agent. A vulcanized product of this EPDM composition satisfies the following mathematical formula 1 and mathematical formula 2.
