Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an artificial intelligence device and method that can efficiently control electronic devices in a home on the basis of an energy storage system (ESS), and can acquire operation reservation information for a pre-registered electronic device, estimate scheduled operation time slots of the electronic device from the acquired operation reservation information, predict power states corresponding to the estimated scheduled operation time slots, determine an operation time slot having a high power consumption efficiency from among the scheduled operation time slots on the basis of the predicted power states, and adjust the scheduled operation time slot of the electronic device on the basis of the operation time slot having a high power usage efficiency.
