Abstract:
It is desirable to be able to measure the load of a wireless communication system without monitoring the communications of a network. Then, provided is an estimation apparatus comprising: measurement result acquisition units for acquiring a local-cell RSRP that is measured in one cell of an LTE system and that indicates the reception strength of a reference signal received from the one cell, for acquiring an RSRQ that is measured in the one cell and that indicates the reception quality of the reference signal and for acquiring an other-cell RSRP that is measured in the one cell and that indicates the reception strength of a reference signal received from another cell; and an estimated value derivation unit for deriving, on the basis of the local-cell RSRP, RSRQ and other-cell RSRP, at least one of an estimated value of a usage rate of PRB in the one cell and an estimated value of an average usage rate of PRB in the one cell and the other cell.
