Abstract:

A sealing ring removal device is used to remove a sealing ring remaining on the neck of a wine bottle. A sealing ring removal device has: a restriction body (11) coming into contact with the top surface (7) of a bottle (3); and a pusher (12) mounted to the restriction body (11) in a slidable manner. The pusher (12) is provided with a cutter (22). Pushing down on the pusher (12) against a spring (16) causes the cutting edge (27) of the cutter (22) to slit a sealing ring (2). As a result, the sealing ring (2) can be removed simply. The restriction body (11) is held by a boss section (18) or an outer cylinder section (21) so as not to be displaceable.
