Abstract:
The present invention provides the composition described below as an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition which is suppressed in thermal deterioration during melt molding. An ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition which contains an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A), at least one compound (B) that is selected from the group consisting of a metal compound (excluding a titanium compound) (B1) belonging to the fourth row d block of the long form periodic table, a specific polyolefin resin (B2), an olefin polymer (B3), a polyamide resin (B4) and a styrene derivative (B5) that has a substituent in the α-position, and a titanium compound (C), wherein the content of the titanium compound (C) in terms of elemental metal is not less than 0.00005 ppm but less than 5 ppm per the mass of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition.
