Abstract:
These resin composition pellets include prescribed amounts of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol resin (A), a polyamide (B), and a lower fatty acid magnesium salt (C). A polyamide resin (B) having an average dispersed particle diameter of no more than 1 µm as observed through an electron microscope is dispersed in the ethylene-vinyl alcohol resin (A). The lower fatty acid magnesium salt (C) is dispersed in both the ethylene-vinyl alcohol resin (A) and the polyamide resin (B). As a result, resin composition pellets having an excellent hue can be obtained. In addition, a film having excellent thermal stability during film production, excellent external appearance immediately after film production, and excellent external appearance after heat treatment can be obtained.
