Abstract:
[Problem] To apply a magnetic field that exerts a good effect on the biological functions of Euglena and to promote Euglena photosynthesis by applying oxygen and carbon dioxide gas as well as to increase the dissolved oxygen to inhibit the generation of anaerobic microorganisms and thereby improve the Euglena growth environment. [Solution] A magnetizing device 10 composed of a rotating body 1 equipped with an electromagnetic inducer comprising a plurality of permanent magnets 1a and a motor 2 which rotates the rotating body 1 is mounted to create an alternating magnetic field in a water supply channel 11a to an aquaculture water tank 19 in which Euglena are present, magnetic bands 8 electrically connected to the magnetizing device 10 are placed in the aquaculture water tank 19 and the water supply water channel 11a and the aquaculture water tank 19 or the water supply channel is equipped with an aeration means, and an oxygen gas mixing means 20 for supplying oxygen and a carbon dioxide gas mixing means 21 for supplying carbon dioxide gas are provided in the aquaculture water tank 19.
