Abstract:
Disclosed is an evaluation device that: groups a unit data set into two or more groups that include one or more items among a plurality of data items (S11); calculates, as a group-specific unit space, a unit space for each of two or more group-specific unit data sets, which are the unit data set that has been grouped into two or more groups (S12); uses the calculated group-specific unit spaces to calculate a first Mahalanobis distance of a corresponding group-specific unit data set, and a second Mahalanobis distance of a signal data set in a corresponding data item (S13, S14); calculates a first linear sum of a plurality of calculated first Mahalanobis distances, and a second linear sum of a plurality of calculated second Mahalanobis distances (S15, S16); and compares the calculated first linear sum and the second linear sum and outputs the comparison result as a first comparison result (S17).
