Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an evaluation method of a test substance using an M cell model similar to M cells in a living human body. Provided is an evaluation method of a test substance, the method including: preparing intestinal epithelial cells containing M cells from intestinal stem cells induced from induced pluripotent stem cells; co-culturing lymphocytes with the intestinal epithelial cells containing the M cells; bringing the M cells into contact with the test substance having a diameter of 0.3 μm or greater; and evaluating the uptake of the test substance by the M cells and discharge of the same from the M cells.
