Abstract:
Provided is an evaporation prevention mechanism that suppresses evaporation when a specimen is stored, without causing carry over. To accomplish this, an evaporation prevention mechanism 12 that accommodates a cylindrical specimen container 3 accommodating a specimen comprises: a cylindrical accommodation container 101 that connects an upper opening and a lower opening; a lid 104 covering the upper opening; a seal member 102 attached to the lower opening; and a bottom receiving member 103b. The specimen container is inserted into the accommodation container through the upper opening and is accommodated in a state in which: the seal member closely contacts the side surface of the specimen container; a bottom portion of the specimen container contacts the bottom receiving member; and an upper end of the specimen container is not contacting the lid.
