Abstract:
An excavation point identification device that can efficiently excavate even if the shape of the excavated object changes is realized. An excavation unit (12) refers to height information at a plurality of points on an excavated object to be excavated by an excavation device, and extracts a plurality of excavation point candidates, which are candidates for an excavation point at which the excavation device will start excavation. For each of the plurality of excavation site candidates extracted by the extraction unit (12), an estimation unit (13) estimates an excavation amount that the excavation unit will excavate, on the basis of the excavation trajectory of the excavation device. A selection unit (14) selects an excavation point from the plurality of excavation point candidates on the basis of the excavation amount estimated by the estimation unit (13).
