Abstract:
Provided is an exfoliated graphite sheet which exhibits a heat conductivity in the plane direction being greater than that in the thickness direction and being maintained to be uniform and can be produced at a low cost with good efficiency. A sheet which is formed from exfoliated graphite alone and is so adjusted as to have a heat conductivity in the plane direction of 350 W/(m·K) or more. Since the sheet is formed from exfoliated graphite alone and has a heat conductivity in the plane direction of 350 W/(m·K) or more, it exhibits an extraordinarily large difference between the heat conductivity in the thickness direction and that in the plane direction, and thus, it can be suitably used for the diffusion and transfer of heat. Further, the sheet can be produced with ease and in a short time, that is, with high productivity, which results in the production at a low cost.
