Abstract:
Provided are: an exhaust gas purification device for a wood-burning stove, the exhaust gas purification device being capable of reducing manufacturing costs by using an inexpensive metal as a metal catalyst, and also being capable of reducing the reaction initiation temperature of the metal catalyst; and a method for manufacturing the exhaust gas purification device for a wood-burning stove. The exhaust gas purification device for a wood-burning stove purifies exhaust gas by being attached to a wood-burning stove W that can burn firewood, emit heat, and discharge, to the outside, exhaust gas generated by the burning of the firewood. The exhaust gas purification device comprises: a catalytic structure 2 through which the exhaust gas can circulate; and a metal catalyst 3 that is supported on the catalytic structure 2 and can react with and purify the exhaust gas circulating in the catalytic structure 2. The metal catalyst 3 comprises silver (Ag) and palladium (Pd).
