Abstract:
This exhaust gas purification filter (1) is disposed in an exhaust channel of a gasoline engine. The exhaust gas purification filter (1) has a partition (11) having a large number of pores (110), a plurality of cells (12) sectioned by the partition (11), and a sealing part (13) for alternately sealing the plurality of cells (12) at both end parts of the filter. The partition (11) is configured such that the surface area of pores in the partition (11) is 100,000 m2/m3 or greater, and A≥B is satisfied, where A μm is the average pore size of the partition wall (11) and B μm is the average surface opening diameter of the pores (110) on the surface of the partition wall (11).
