Abstract:
This exhaust gas purification filter (1) is disposed in an exhaust channel of a gasoline engine. The exhaust gas purification filter (1) has a partition (11) having a large number of pores (110), a plurality of cells (12) sectioned by the partition (11), and a sealing part (13) for alternately sealing the plurality of cells (12) at both end parts of the filter. The partition (11) is configured such that the count of communicating holes, which is the number of communicating holes (111) per 1 mm2 of the partition, is 4000 or greater, and A≥B is satisfied, where A μm is the average pore size of the partition wall (11) and B μm is the average surface opening diameter of the pores (110) on the surface of the partition wall (11).
