Abstract:
An exhaust gas purification filter (1) having: a plurality of cells (11) that extend in the filter axial direction (X); a porous partition (12) partitioning the plurality of cells (11); and a sealed section (13) that seals the plurality of cells (11), alternately, at the ends of the filter. The partition (12) has a total value of more than 1.3 μm3/μm2 and no more than 1.7 μm3/μm2for the spatial volume Vvv of a protruding valley (123) and an actual volume Vmp for a protruding mountain (124), which are volume parameters for the partition (12) surface measured using non-contact surface roughness measurement.
The average pore diameter of the partition (12) is 12–20 μm. The porosity of the partition (12) is 50%–75%.
