Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust gas purification device for a marine diesel engine with which it is possible to achieve a reduction in size of a cyclone as well as high PM collection efficiency and low fuel consumption. The present invention is characterized by being equipped with a dust collection means, which has a discharge electrode that charges particulate matter contained in the exhaust gas from a marine diesel engine, and has a tubular trapping unit that traps the charged particulate matter, and the dust collection means separates and collects particulate matter removed from the tubular trapping unit. In addition, a low-concentration exhaust gas extraction pipe and a high-concentration exhaust gas unit for the particulate matter are provided downstream from the tubular trapping unit. In addition, a dust collection means that traps particulate matter is provided on the high-concentration exhaust gas extraction unit. In addition, a recirculation pipe that recirculates purification gas is provided between the marine diesel engine and the tubular trapping unit, and a means for imparting kinetic energy with respect to the exhaust gas recirculating in the recirculation pipe is provided. In addition, the speed with which the exhaust gas flows into the dust collection means is controlled by controlling the degree of opening of a damper arranged in the low-concentration exhaust gas extraction pipe and/or by controlling the mean for imparting kinetic energy to the exhaust gas.
