Abstract:
The ECU (8) controls the suction sub-port valves (32a, 32b) so that the value (P) detected by a pressure sensor (S1) matches a target pressure (Pt), which is set by the ECU (8). When the detected value (P) is greater than the target pressure (Pt) with both of the suction sub-port valves (32a, 32b) completely closed, the ECU (8) opens only the suction sub-port valve (32a) and gradually increases the degree of opening thereof. When the detected value (P) is greater than the target pressure (Pt) even with the suction sub-port valve (32a) completely open, the ECU (8) also opens the suction sub-port valve (32b) and gradually increases the degree of opening thereof. Conversely, when the detected value (P) decreases and is smaller than the target pressure (Pt) when the suction sub-port valve (32a) is open at a selected degree of opening, the ECU (8) gradually decreases the degree of opening of the suction sub-port valve (32a).
