Abstract:
Disclosed is an external preparation for the skin which exhibits excellent remedying effects on rough or dull skin, pimples and the like, which are inherent in the use of chemical peeling preparations, and which is easy to wash off whilst being of a suitable viscosity which does fall off in drips, is easy to apply, causes little irritation and is highly safe. Said preparation comprises (a) 1.0-7.0 mass% of one or more acids selected from among α-hydroxy acids, (b) 0.1-3.0 mass% of crosslinked sodium N, N-dimethylacrylamide-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonate copolymer, (c) 0.1-3.0 mass% of an associating thickener such as (polyethylene glycol-240/decyltetradeceth-20/hexamethylene-diisocyanate) copolymer and has a pH of 2.0-5.0.
