[Problem] To provide an external wall repair device that makes it possible to perform repair work by remote operation after diagnosis of an outer wall of a building without assembling scaffolding around the building. [Solution] An external wall repair device A comprising: a travel path body 4; a cart 1 having a winch device and a travel section capable of traveling on the travel path body 4; a repair device body 2 having a gondola 20 suspended and lifted or lowered by the winch device, a manipulator 21 that is arranged on the gondola 20 and executes repair work, a vacuum device 24 for detachably fixing the gondola 20 to an external wall surface and an imaging unit capable of capturing an image of the work state of the manipulator 21, and a belt that has both ends fixed to an attachment/detachment means of a fixing device and is hung on a drive unit for the manipulator 21; and a remote operation unit 3 having a monitor 32 whereby it is possible for an operator to view an image from the imaging unit, and an operating glove 31 that is operated by the operator, synchronizes the manipulator 21, and enables remote operation.
