Abstract:
An extreme-low-temperature freezer 10 is provided with: a cold head 14 installed in a rotary part 102; and a valve unit 54 installed in a rotary support part 100 which rotatably supports the rotary part 102. The extreme-low-temperature freezer 10 may be provided with a rotary joint 70 for connecting the valve unit 54 to the cold head 14 in order to supply a working gas from the valve unit 54 to the cold head 14. The extreme-low-temperature freezer 10 may be also provided with a detachable connector 68 for connecting the valve unit 54 to the rotary joint 70.
