Abstract:
A fabrication method for a flexible liquid crystal display panel, comprising: fabricating at a side of a rigid substrate (200) a light-shielding pattern (300) arranged in an array, and fabricating a second substrate (400) at a side of the rigid substrate (200) far away from the light-shielding pattern (300) or at a side of the light-shielding pattern (300) far away from the rigid substrate (200); aligning the second substrate (400) and a first substrate (100), and disposing a liquid crystal layer (500) that comprises liquid crystal molecules (510) and polymerizable monomers (520) between the first substrate (100) and the second substrate (400) so as to obtain a liquid crystal box; thereafter, performing ultraviolet light irradiation on the liquid crystal box from a side of the rigid substrate (200) far away from the second substrate (400), and forming an organic polymerization retaining wall (600) at a gap between the corresponding light-shielding pattern (300) in the liquid crystal layer (500), i.e. at a region between adjacent sub-pixels (11). The fabrication thereof is simple, effectively improves the fabrication precision of the organic polymerization retaining wall (600), and is beneficial in reducing product costs.
