Abstract:
Disclosed are a facility management system for public lighting capable of reporting malfunction of the public lighting by using a mobile terminal such as a smartphone, and a facility management method using same. The facility management system for the public lighting according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a user terminal for acquiring information regarding particular public lighting and generating a report message for reporting malfunction of the public lighting by using the acquired information; and a facility management server for, when the report message is received from the user terminal, processing the received report message. Accordingly, not only a manager but also users can easily and conveniently file a malfunction report of the public lighting and, on the basis thereof, quickly cope with the malfunction of the public lighting, thereby improving convenience for the user and the manager.
