Abstract:
The present invention relates to a socket having a thin structure and a spring contact suitable for same, the socket enabling durability degradation of a contact itself to be alleviated, having excellent electrical characteristics in high-speed signal processing, and enabling the extension of use lifespan. The socket of the present invention comprises: a plurality of spring contacts (100), each of which includes an upper contact pin (110), a lower contact pin (120) capable of linearly operating with the upper contact pin by being assembled so as to intersect therewith, and a coil spring (130) for elastically supporting the upper contact pin (110) and the lower contact pin (120); a lower film plate (310) having a plurality of first through-holes (311) in which each spring contact (100) is penetratively positioned; a middle plate (320) provided at the upper part of the lower film plate (310) so as to have second through-holes formed at positions corresponding to the first through-holes (311); and an upper film plate (330) provided at the upper part of the middle plate (320) so as to have third through-holes formed at positions corresponding to the second through-holes.
