Abstract:
An acquisition part (41) of a falling object sensing device (11) used while being mounted on a first vehicle acquires a depth image of a second vehicle with a load mounted thereon and traveling ahead of the first vehicle and of the vicinity of the second vehicle. Using the depth image acquired by the acquisition part (41), an assessment part (42) of the falling object sensing device (11) assesses whether the load is moving differently from the second vehicle. On the basis of the result of the assessment performed by the assessment part (42), a sensing part (43) of the falling object sensing device (11) senses a fall of the load.
