Abstract:

An image pickup device (1) is provided with: a wiring board (40); an image pickup unit (P) having a lens module (50), and an image pickup element (41) mounted on the wiring board (40); a frame-shaped housing (10) opened in the direction of an optical axis (A) of the image pickup unit (P); a top cover (30) disposed on the housing (10); a light source (42) that emits light to be outputted to the outside through the top cover (30); and light guide bodies (61, 62), which are disposed around the lens module (50), and which guide the light emitted from the light source (42). The image pickup unit (P) is disposed by having a gap (G2) between the top cover (30) and the image pickup unit (P), the housing (10) has a bulging portion (11) bulging to the lens module (50) side such that the bulging portion is in a non-contact state (G1) with respect to the wiring board (40), and the bulging portion (11) receives, via at least the light guide bodies (61, 62), a load (L5) applied from the top cover (30).
