Abstract:
A fan is provided which, regardless of the location of installation, makes it easy to attach and detach a guard that covers the opening of a casing. A removable guard (20b), which covers a first opening (10a) of a cylindrical casing (10) in a fan (1), is provided with first engagement units (25) comprising a horizontal rod (25a) which extends in the left-right direction from the guard body (20m) and a vertical rod (25b) which extends downwards from the end of the horizontal rod. The vertical rods are inserted from above into second engagement units (15), which are cylindrical with the axis in the vertical direction, and which are provided on the peripheral edge (12) of the first opening.
