Abstract:
A fan shroud (10) for a cooling fan device, said fan shroud equipped with a cover wall (12) covering the interval between a heat exchanger and the periphery of the fan, and a holed frame part (15) that is positioned on the outside of the cover wall (12), between the fan (30) and attachment parts (18a), (18b) for attaching to a vehicle, and that permits the free passage of a travel breeze. Openings (17) in the holed frame part (15) are provided with reinforcing ribs (19), and at least a portion of the reinforcing ribs (19) are deflection louvers that guide the travel breeze in a prescribed direction.
