Abstract:
A fastener strip having magnetic powder not distributed through the entire volume thereof and contained in each discontinuous identification area thereof and a method and a device for manufacturing the fastener strip, the fastener strip comprising a substrate, a large number of hook pieces rising from the engagement surface of the substrate, and row magnetic bodies rising from the surface of the substrate and disposed along approximately the centerline and&sol or both lateral edge parts of the fastener strip, wherein the magnetic powder is contained in the magnetic body and the portion of the substrate under the magnetic body but not distributed over the entire substrate, whereby the fastener strip can be accurately and suckingly positioned in a metal mold at a specified position and also allowed to act so as to form a seal effective to prevent an engagement element from being contaminated.
