Title:
Fe-Mn CONSTANT MODULUS/MAGNETO-INSENSITIVE ALLOY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/052554
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a Fe-Mn alloy having both excellent constant elasticity and magneto-insensitivity. [Solution] A Fe-Mn alloy: having a composition containing essentially 21-27 at% of Mn and 0.2-7 at% total of element (X) obtained from one or more of Mo, W, Nb, Ta, Ti, Zr and Hf, which belong to IVB-VIB of the periodic table, the remainder being Fe and unavoidable impurities; and having a constant elasticity such that the temperature coefficient of the Young's modulus at least in the -20 to 80°C temperature range is within ±5×10-5/°C and a magneto—insensitive property such that the magnetic flux density (1.5T) is not more than 300 G.
