Abstract:
Provided is technology for assisting the realization of mindfulness by a user. The present invention is a feedback device including a feature amount calculation unit for calculating a body state feature amount from body state data, an index calculation unit for calculating a body state index using the body state feature amount, an estimation result generation unit for generating a body state estimation result using the body state feature amount and the body state index, a feedback unit for presenting a prescribed stimulus to a user as feedback on the basis of the body state estimation result, and a user reaction acquisition unit for acquiring a user reaction indicating that the user has noticed the feedback. The feedback unit: presents, as feedback, stimulus that incrementally becomes stronger from when the body state estimation result indicates an abnormality for a prescribed duration, until the user notices the feedback; and presents, as feedback, stimulus that incrementally becomes stronger and weaker according to the body state estimation result, from when the user notices the feedback until when the body state estimation result returns to normal for a prescribed duration.
