Abstract:
A power conversion device (100) comprises: a DC/DC converter (40) that transforms, according to a voltage command, a DC voltage input from a first DC circuit (1) and outputs the transformed DC voltage to a second DC circuit (2); and a control unit (50) that controls switching of semiconductor switching elements (21, 22) on the basis of a comparison of a modulation wave, which is a voltage command, and a carrier wave. In order to ensure both a first cycle T1 in which the semiconductor switching elements (21, 22) are not switched over one cycle of the carrier wave and a second cycle T2 in which the semiconductor switching elements (21, 22) are switched at any timing within one cycle of the carrier wave, the control unit (50) adjusts, according to a value of the modulation wave, a first period in which the value of the modulation wave is increased such that the modulation wave exceeds the carrier wave.
